Staging, Decluttering, and Neutralizing

How your client lives in their home is very different than how we want to market and show their home to buyers! I will recommend various ways to help each unique home show in the best light possible. I may use the sellers belongings, my personal inventory, or a combination of both—whatever it takes to make the home look pristine.

Clutter eats equity! Your client is about to move anyway, so I’ll help them get a head start by pointing out which items to pack up early and store out of the buyers sight. A clutter-free home is much more attractive to a buyer. Neutralizing your client’s décor to give it the broadest appeal possible is another important step in Staging. I might remove some of the seller’s items which might reflect too much of their own personal taste and keep a buyer from mentally “moving in” to the home.
